Tower of Babel Apps ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Tower of Babel mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our App is designed as a real-time voice translator and we minimize data collection to only what is necessary for the App to function.

Audio Data: When you use the translation feature, the App temporarily captures audio from your device microphone. This audio is used solely for speech-to-text transcription and translation. Audio data is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers or on your device after processing.

We do NOT collect:

• Personal identification information
• Location data
• Contact information
• Photos or videos
• Financial information
• Device identifiers for tracking
• Browsing history

3. How We Use Your Information

Audio data captured by the App is used exclusively for:

• Speech-to-Text: Converting spoken words into text using Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API
• Translation: Translating transcribed text using Anthropic Claude AI
• Text-to-Speech: Converting translated text into speech using ElevenLabs API

All audio processing is ephemeral - data is processed in real-time and not retained after translation is complete.

4. Third-Party Services

Audio data is transmitted to:

• Google Cloud Speech-to-Text: Google Privacy Policy
• Anthropic (Claude AI): Anthropic Privacy Policy
• ElevenLabs: ElevenLabs Privacy Policy

We transmit only the minimum data necessary for translation purposes.

5. Data Security

All data is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We do not store any user data on our servers.

6. Children Privacy

Our App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data Retention

We do not retain any user data. Audio is processed in real-time and not stored.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete.

9. Permissions

The App requires:

• Microphone: To capture voice for translation
• Internet: To communicate with translation services
